Summary

A Neolithic polished flint axehead was found by chance at this location in 1927. Metal-detecting between 2023 and 2025 recovered Late Iron Age/Roman (Roman issue), Roman and post-medieval coins and several other metal objects, including an incomplete pair of Roman tweezers and a medieval bar mount and lead weight.
