Summary

A post mill and a tower mill are both shown on Bryant's map of 1826. The post mill was demolished in the 1870s and the tower mill was still in use in the late 1920s. The brick tower mill dates to the late 18th century and has a conical roof with a wind-vane.

(S3) describes the mill as a late 18th century tower mill. Brick, circular on plan, and tapered with conical roof with wind-vane. Windows with glazing bars. Some sashes with moulded casing. Sails missing.
