Full Description
Group of four barrows (contexts 1 to 4). One or more apparently excavated.
1975.
Finds recovered from near one of the barrows. See NHER 58724 for further details.
30 April 1982.
All lightly wooded but good condition though easternmost (context 1) has had gully made across it and 'shelf' halfway down by local riding club who were using it as a jump. [1] has now stopped this and covered mound in loose branches to keep animal off.

Context 1 no change, depression in centre, tree 150 years old on it.
Contexts 2 to 4 no change.

Two barrows support a thick cover of young birch trees. These will be felled leaving roots in situ.
