Summary
A prehistoric flint adze was reportedly found here in 1949. It is possible that was one of several Mesolithic tranchet adzes/axes that was subsequently identified in the finder's collection.

1949. Stray Find.
Found by [1]:
1 flint adze, black flint, 5 1/8 inches [13cm] long. Seen by R. R. Clarke (NCM).

This may be one of the Mesolithic tranchet axes/axes subsequently identified in the collection of [1] by R. Jacobi and listed in (S2).
