Alleged tumulus southwest of Sparham Hall. 9 to 14m (10 to 15 yards) from pond. ?Upcast from pond. 2.7m (9 feet) high, diameter 20m (22 yards). Two old oak trees on mound. Doubtful.
Reported by [1] who has photo.
R.R. Clarke (NCM).
Low mound 20cm high - original description should probably read nine inches not feet. Possibly upcast from pond, or a
deserte medieval earthwork. In pasture.
A.J. Lawson (NAU), 15 March 1976.
Whole area under arable. A barely perceptible undulation in crop on supposed site of 'mound'.
H. Paterson (A&E), 16 March 1998.
