Summary

A cropmark of an undated moat can be seen on aerial photographs. Records suggest this may have been destroyed in 1955 but it is still visible on photographs taken in 1993.

Large moat on Ordnance Survey, bisected by stream, half in wood.
According to R.R. Clarke (NCM) it was levelled in 1955 but nothing was found. However still marked on OS 1:50,000. Permission to visit refused due to owners absence.

Excellent crop mark of moat, all flattened and ploughed except southeast corner which is a small copse under which the ditch might survive.
