Full Description
Moat suggested by R. R. Clarke (NCM).
However the Ordnance Survey suggest it is a quarry from the building of Stradsett Park. They point out it is not shown on the tithe map of 1840, but this does not always mean anything.
E. Rose (NAU), 28 February 1980.
October 2000. Visit.
Nothing seen on the ground to suggest any earthwork in this area. Owner says he has never been aware of any evidence of an earthwork.
Compiled by H. Paterson (NLA), 6 October 2000.
