Gravel pit on Crimplesham Boundary. West of Gravel Pit Plantation (100 feet OD).
22 July 1935 on south face of working. Depression filled with soil and burnt materials about 6.1m (20 feet) east to west, 1.2m (4 feet) maximum depth.
Four fragments of nondescript pottery ?Roman or early Iron Age, but not kept.
