Full Description
May 1977. Visited.
Moat marked on NCM map. A pond at this end of a long overgrown ditch.
No indication on ground that this is a moat.
E. Rose (NAU), 25 May 1977.
November 2008. Field visit.
More probably a fish pond associated with the monastic grange to the north (NHER 4422) than a moat.
D. Robertson (NLA), 19 December 2008.
