Pre 1940. Rectory garden site.

'Iron Age sherds from Rectory garden site', see (S1).
Charles Green (NCM) also noted that on 9 October 1964 he found a box of Iron Age sherds, in the Bronze Age section of NCM stores (see NHER 4537 for details) one of which was marked 'rectory'.
This is a finer body sherd gritted with a little angular quartz.

Late Upper Palaeolithic flint blades.
1 Iron Age pottery sherd.
7 Roman pottery sherds.

1 medieval roof tile fragment and an incomplete hone stone.
2 medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds.
10 post-medieval pottery sherds.

Site extended 66m to the west. Previously mapped as a point at [2].
