Full Description
1960. In turf cutting.
Antoninus of Victorinus (AD 265 to 270), probably Cohen 112.

Identified by R. R. Clarke (NCM).
1980. Found in disturbed soil on west edge of western ditch of moated enclosure.
English copper jetton: obverse four leaves in cross, reverse long cross.

Cropmark of sub rectangular moated enclosure (adjacent to church) with entrance clearly visible as being in the northwest corner. Site previously noted on RAF photography of 1946. Size 78m north to south x 82m east to west approximately. Plotted on NAU overlay sheet for TF 70 SE, July 1979.

1990. Visit. Homestead moat.
The arms are dry and have a maximum depth of 1.9m and a maximum width of 12m. The island shows no evidence of a building and is level with the surrounding area in the north but is 1.5m below to the south and west.
