Summary

A piece of Roman amphora (storage jar) was found here in 1948. Metal-detecting in 2021 recovered medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Middle/Late Bronze probable axehead fragments; a Roman brooch and terret ring; a Roman/Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon/medieval lead spindle whorl; a medieval rotary key and a medieval/post-medieval bell.
