Summary

Neolithic flints, including a flaked axehead, a spear tip, an adze, and leaf arrowheads were found in 1860. Also found were Bronze Age barbed and tanged arrowheads.

Visited 10 January 1936.
Old loam pit with thick tree growth. No traces of human industry except a few pot boilers in field surrounding it.
