Summary

In 1849 an Iron Age gold coin, which may have been part of a hoard, was found somewhere near to Thetford. It has been suggested that it may have come from Brettenham.

Uninscribed gold coin said to have been found with four other 'British coins'.
Possible metal hoard?

Perhaps the British gold coin from Thetford exhibited in 1849 by J. Warren, see (S1).
