Summary
At sometime around 1930 various Roman pottery sherds were found here. Types identified included fragments of samian ware dating to the late 2nd century. These finds are within the area of NHER 31897.

Full Description
Around 1930. From south side of road by Redcastle Plantation, but marked on Ordnance Survey as on north side road - E. Rose (NAU).
Sherds including fragment of Samian Ware form 45 (Lezoux), late 2nd century.
Held by Thetford Museum.
