Summary

Roman pottery found in 1935. More recent fieldwalking recovered a ?Mesolithic end scraper, a number of later prehistoric worked flints, and Beaker, Roman and medieval pottery sherds.

Various prehistoric worked flints including a potentially Mesolithic end scraper and a Neolithic transverse arrowhead. The remaining pieces were less closely datable. These included a flake knife, a blade, retouched flakes, hammerstones and a possible core rejuvenation flake. A number of these pieces including the end scraper are illustrated in (S1).
Beaker, Roman and medieval sherds also recovered.
