Summary

A lead coffin and human bones were reported to have been ploughed up in 1930. They are thought to have been Roman, but were destroyed before they could be properly dated.

Plain lead coffin about 1.5m ( 5') long divided down centre ploughed up.
Destroyed before record could be made.
Probably Roman. Human bones also found.. (S1). Information from [1].
