Map

Barrow under plough 8 May 1953? This is not a barrow but a natural mound.
R. R. Clarke (NCM), 27 October 1954.

Mound in ploughed field 35m in diameter, 35cm high. Looks very much like a flattened barrow, but the ground undulates very much.
A.J. Lawson (NAU), 12 February 1976. (S1) 'probably not a barrow'..

Seen as a barely perceptable rise under onion crop.
H. Paterson (NLA), 14 June 1996.

September 2012. Norfolk NMP.
The site was not visible on any of the consulted aerial photographs. The ground in this area is covered in undulations on the earliest available aerial photographs (S2-S3), and those from later photographs (S4-S5) when the area has been ploughed do not show any cropmarks which can be interpreted as a ring ditch or round barrow.
E. Bales (NMP), 13 September 2012.
