Summary

The earthwork remains of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible on Blakeney Downs on aerial photographs. This site is scheduled together with the nearby site of NHER 6131, a slightly smaller round barrow to the northwest.

About 30m from NHER 6131.
Lower, and more eroded.
About 10cm high.
Ditched bowl.
Mound spread on ditch which is 30cm deep, 2.1m wide, mound 18m diameter.
Discovered 1 September 1934 by R. R. Clarke (NCM) and visited with L. V. Grinsell (NCM) 17 June 1936.

Schedule gives as 17m across, 1.2m high, now scheduled as one with NHER 6131.

Completely masked in thick gorse, with much rabbit disturbance.
It is hoped to remove gorse and control rabbits under a Section 17 agreement.

The earthwork remains of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible on Blakeney Downs on a variety of aerial photographs including Hunting Survey 1969 (S1) and, BKS 1988 (S2) vertical aerial photographs and NLA oblique images from 1993 (S6), 1990 (S4), 1989 (S5) and 1977 (S3). This site is scheduled together with the nearby site of NHER 6132 (a slightly smaller round barrow to the northwest), they are scheduled under Scheduled Monument County Number NF221 or Scheduled Monument National Number 21377.
This barrow is centred on NGR TG0188 4363 and has a diameter of approximately 16m and there appears to be a ditch around it.

Barrow to south the subject of extensive gorse clearance now shows grass regeneration over a large part of the surface. Much rabbit disturbance.
