Summary

An undated hearth and pottery fragments were noted in 1925. A piece of burnt flint and a fragment of possibly medieval pottery from the site were examined in 1948.

August 1925.
Southeast of Weybourne Halls, southeast of pit on north side of Weybourne to Sheringham main road. About 21.3m (70 feet) OD.

Informant reports hearth with pottery (of unknown date) in his possession. Under bottom of hedge five or six pieces of pottery.
Calcined flints, one fragment seen by R. R. Clarke (NCM) 1948; difficult to classify; gritty sherd ?medieval. Hearth 90cm (3 feet) long, 10 to 13cm (4 inches to 5 inches) thick.
