Full Description
Pre 1953. Stray Find.
Found by A. Q. Watson at unknown location in Aylmerton:
1 prehistoric quartzite macehead. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1953.177.18). Information from (S1).
This object is listed in (S2) as a pebble macehead and listed in (S3) as a perforated quartzite macehead. These objects are now generally seen as not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.
