Full Description
Bronze palstave (S1) found 1939 to 1945 during construction of gun emplacement.

Description given on drawing of the site is 'In hedge bottom in second field before reaching Saracen's Head Inn'.
No obvious sign of gun emplacement on 1946 RAF aerial photographs.
