Summary

Bridge House, also known as Lingate House, was built around 1835 and modified shortly afterwards. It is a copy of an earlier Queen Anne style of house which stood on this site, and is constructed of brick with a pantile roof in two storeys with five bays. The associated buildings were built at the same time, and are thought important for their organisation.

Listing 1986 describes this building as Bridge Farmhouse (for reference see Bridge Farm to east on 6inch OS (S2)) and says it is a mid 19th century copy in Queen Anne style of house formerly on site. Brick, pantiled. Two storeys five bays. Central door within rusticated brick quoins terminating in Corinthian capitals. Rusticated quoins to corners of facade. String course below upper windows. Hipped roof with two symmetrical stacks.
