Full Description
July 1970. Stray Find.
Found during sugar beet hoeing:
Neolithic flint chisel with polished cutting edge.
Identified by T. Clough (NAU). Information from (S1).
This discovery was reported in (S2).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 11 November 2019.
1980s.
This is almost certainly the same object as a Neolithic flint chisel that was examined by J. Wymer (NAU) at some point during the 1980s. This implement is recorded as having been found at [1] and is described as a broken polished flint chisel with square section. See drawing (S3).
