Summary

In 1958 parts of a necked Bronze Age beaker were recovered from this location. Later, in 1963, excavations in the same area recovered early medieval and post medieval pottery sherds.The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch at this location have been identified in the past, although this is uncertain.
