Full Description
1973.
During road making for a housing development, sherds found in some burnt areas close to surface. Could have been hearths? About 90cm (1 yard) in diameter. Otherwise east half of field negative.
Information from W. F. Milligan from various sources.
Also medieval sherds including 'frill' rims, handle, bases glazed and decorated and ?Grimston.
