Full Description
1974. Stray Find.
Found on potato harvester (so exact findspot uncertain):
1 Palaeolithic ovate flint handaxe. Iron stained and with white patination. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1975.411). Information from (S1). Discovery first reported in (S2).
This object is described on (S3) and in (S4) as an ovate handaxe in slightly rolled condition. It is also noted in (S5) and (S6), although no additional information is given.
