Summary

Pieces of a globular pot dating to about 300 BC were found in a gravel pit. Other pieces of Iron Age or possibly Early Saxon pottery were also discovered.

1941. Stray Find.
Found in gravel pit, in pieces:
1 ?Iron Age globular pottery vessel. Iron Age A2 - about 300 BC (or Early Saxon?). See rough sketch (S1).
This discovery was noted in (S2) and the pot itself was donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1941.106).
