Summary

A hoard of at least thirty nine late 3rd century AD Roman coins was found in 1943. Two further coins were found in 1947.

Found together in one spot 46cm (13 inches) diameter. No pottery.
Hoard of 39 coins, late 3rd century.
Seven copper alloy Gallienus.
One silver Gallienus.
Two copper alloy Salonina.
One silver Postumus.
Ten copper alloy Victorinus.
Eleven copper alloy Tetricus I.
Four copper alloy Tetricus II.
Five copper alloy Claudius II.
One illegible.
