Summary

Old Hall is a moated timber-framed house thought to have been built in the early 16th century. It has brick stepped gables and a porch with a pedimented doorway, and the front was given a brick skin in the 1920s. The house probably originally had an upper chamber, and the seven-bay crown-post roof extends the whole length of the house.

Moated ?manorial site. Hall mid 16th century with unusual crownpost roof.
17th century and later alterations.
Priest hole claimed does not in fact exist.
Barn, 18th century converted to house.
