Summary

This house and farm date to the post medieval period. The house was built in the late 16th century, possibly on the site of a medieval moat. The house has been altered considerably since the 16th century, with many of the windows 19th century in date, for example. A complex of 17th to 19th century farm buildings is associated. This includes a 17th or 18th century brick barn, an early to mid 18th century barn and stable that was built in the mid to late 1700s.
