Summary
In 1950 a patch of dark soil with numerous sherds of coarse Roman pottery was noted at this location. It has been suggested that some sort of Roman site was located here.

1950. 610m (2000ft) north-northwest of Manor Farm.
Patch of dark soil approximately 1.8m (6ft) in diameter with coarse Roman pottery.
