Summary

A Bronze Age round barrow was discovered in woodland southeast of NHER 9155, close to the boundary with Attleborough and Old Buckenham. It survives in good condition and will have the scrub cleared from it sometime in the future. No ditch was found in association with the barrow.

Tumulus 60cm (2ft) high, 20 paces diameter, bracken covered, no visible ditch.

20 paces diameter, 80cm high. Covered in bracken and with one birch on heath.

March 1985. Fair condition. 17m diameter 0.50m high, no trace of ditch. Covered by scrub and bracken.

Mound in woodland, bracken and birch predominate, with two mature birch on summit of monument. This will be felled, by cutting at ground level, when work on trees is next undertaken in this area.
