Summary

The remains of a 14th or 15th century stone cross survive at Whitecross Drift, albeit heavily overgrown. This cross is referred to on a map of 1681. See also NHER 9159.

Top of Whitecross Drift. Stone cross, remains of according to (S1).
Base with stopangles; shaft about 0.7m high, with mortise for next section in top. Overgrown in summer in wood which was formerly Whitecross Drift (known as Greenway in 1681).
(S2) dates to 14th - 15th centuries, probably correct.
