June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
This area was examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. It was possible to make out earthworks of a possible mound on aerial photographs (S1-S3), at TM 0560 9016, measuring at least 24m in diameter. It is possible that this relates to a possible Bronze Age burial mound. Soilmarks of possible ditches which may or may not be related to this site were also visible in the field to the south (NHER 57355).
E. Bales (NMP), 19th June 2012.
