Full Description
July 1960. See Notes.
Fragments of at least 6 vessels of Roman grey ware.
Sherd of plain Samian and animal bones found in digging for electricity pylons 1.8m (6') deep. Probably 2nd century.

Roman grey ware sherds and a ?samian ware sherd with surfaces gone.
7 Roman coins 3rd/4th century, see list in file (coins mostly from near road).
Roman copper alloy furniture or box knob.
