Summary
It is recorded that around 1881 a coin hoard of 136 silver English and Irish groats, deposited around 1485, was recovered from this parish. A further 200 to 300 English groats were recovered around 1895-1900. It is thought that these two discoveries are likely to represent parts of a single hoard.

Around 1881. Coin hoard of 136 silver English and Irish groats deposited around 1485.
Around 1895-1900. 200 - 300 English silver groats, after 1453.
