Full Description
1949. Found while excavating 1.2m (4 feet) deep for pumping station for double filtration plant on Sewage Farm east of Sewage works. Fragment of Samian ware F18/31.

1971. Grey ware Roman sherd found by J. Goldsmith (NCM) on south side of filter bed.
