Summary

Roman tiles, flint and a 2nd century AD Roman coin were found here. This may suggest that there was a Roman building here. A possible parchmark has been recorded in this area under NHER 52211.

A possible sub-rectangular parchmark at TG 2309 0291, recorded under NHER 52211, may relate to the site of this possible building and finds of tiles. Although it was entirely possible that this parchmark is in fact derived from a naturally occurring deposit.
