Full Description
1973. Stray Find. [1].
Recovered from ploughsoil in area where airfield 'hard standing' had been removed (see NHER 10860):
1 ?Mesolithic flint axe fragment. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1974.100).
Findspot located approximately 1.28km (1400 yards) south of the Mesolithic site identified at Micklehaugh Farm (NHER 2259).
Information from (S1). This object was first reported in (S2) and is also listed in (S3), although no additional information is given (possibly suggesting that Jacobi didn't regard it as Mesolithic?).

February-April 2019. Metal-detecting. Site extended to the whole field. [2].
