Full Description
January 1986. Hales Survey, Heckingham site 36.
Vegetable plot unweeded and liable to flooding.
One rim and one sherd sandy Ipswich, and one base ditto on revisit.
Four sherds and one scrap pimply Ipswich plus one rim on revisit.
Five medieval unglazed plus one more on revisit.
One stoneware.
One glazed red earthenware.

This area has been interpreted as a Middle Saxon settlement. Field north of church.
