Summary

A late medieval manor house, which may date back to the 15th century, with later alterations. The hall has stepped gables, and is decorated with coats of arms and terracotta panels. A gatehouse (NHER 55729), dated 1570, stands in the grounds of the hall.

Manor house of about 1490 to 1520, incorporating the remains of East Hall manor house.
Extended 1570.
Stepped gables with round pinnacles and rusticated chimneys.
Terracotta panels of the gabels and walls form the letters 'IWERWEN'.
Stone coat of arms flaknked by terracotta pilasters, though to be those of the Willoughby family.
Main south façade is Georgian, with 8 bays.
