Summary

A possible Bronze Age hearth is visible as a patch of black earth and pot boilers. Fragments of medieval and post medieval brick have also been found on the site.

Pot boiler site reported to NCM by [1] as one of his Bronze Age hearths.

2 February 1979.
Ordnance Survey reports that this is still clearly visible as two conjoining patches of black earth with burnt flint.

[2] found some bricks here which he claimed were the remains of the 'old Gressenhall hall'.
[3] said they were largely 19th century, 'with a couple of small pieces of medieval brick amoungst them'.
