Full Description
13 April 1976.
Skeleton found by workmen in water trench on west side of East Hall Farm, Langham.
Skeleton with north to south alignment found to be in grave in boulder clay. North end of grave cut by pit containing animal bones. 4 Roman sherds (3 grey burnished, 1 coarse gritted orange ware) probably of 2nd/3rd century date were found in the grave.
